Your Terms and Conditions section is like a contract between you and your customers. You make information and services available to your customers, and your customers must follow your rules.

Common items in a terms and conditions agreement allow you to:

Withdraw and cancel services, and make financial transactions.
Manage customer expectations, such as liability for information errors or website downtime.
Explain your copyright rules, such as attribution, adaptation, commercial or non-commercial use, etc.
Set rules for user behavior, like forbidding unlawful behavior, hate speech, bullying, promotions, spam, etc.
Disable user accounts.
Write down any other terms or conditions that protect you or your audience.

By purchasing or using SafeCuts products, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

SafeCuts products are designed and supplied for light industrial and trade use only, when used in accordance with instructions and common safety practices.

By purchasing or using this product, you acknowledge that the use of cutting tools involves inherent risks.

2. Intended Use

SafeCuts blades are intended for:

light industrial tasks
trade and workshop use
controlled cutting applications where visibility and safe handling are maintained

SafeCuts products are not designed, tested, or approved for:

heavy industrial or high-risk cutting operations
use in machinery, pipelines, or pressurised systems
surgical, medical, or food-preparation purposes
any use beyond their intended design and instructions

Use outside of these intended purposes is considered misuse.

3. User Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for:

using the product safely and correctly
inspecting the blade before use
wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
ensuring the blade is stored safely when not in use

SafeCuts accepts no responsibility for injury, damage, or loss caused by improper use, modification, or failure to follow instructions.

4. Age Restriction

SafeCuts products contain sharp blades and are not sold to persons under 18 years of age.

By purchasing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase and use bladed tools in your jurisdiction.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

SafeCuts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
SafeCuts shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow safety guidance
Use of the product is entirely at the user’s own risk

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

6. No Modification or Alteration

SafeCuts products must not be modified, altered, or used with non-compatible components.

Any modification voids all warranties and releases SafeCuts from all liability.

7. Care, Maintenance & Replacement

Users are responsible for:

replacing blades when worn or damaged
disposing of used blades responsibly
keeping the product clean and dry

Failure to maintain the product may result in unsafe operation.

8. Product Information & Instructions

Instructions and guidance provided via:

packaging
QR codes
website user guides

are provided as general safety guidance only and do not replace proper training or workplace safety procedures.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes arising from the use or purchase of SafeCuts products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10. Contact

SafeCuts products are consumable. Returns are only accepted for manufacturing faults or errors in custom design work. Normal wear, misuse, or change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Not for sale to minors.
